BF Evo 2 Last Chance - Doors Closing

Brute Force Evo 2 - Time Running Out!

You heard me. I have heard live from the trenches that the powerful BFEVO2 software is about to be closed to new members for the foreseeable furture. Apparently there are lots of new developments in the works so to be fair to those who were serious enough about their online marketing to grab their membership and some sweet front page postiions in Google as well. For those who miss out your competition will possibly have too much os a stranglehold on the front page for your to catch up later but perhaps you can look for another market. I also suspect that the 7 Day Trials may not be available next time so you may need to pay up front. From what I hear there are about 2 - 3 days left before closing so if you want a free trial or a chance at the massive discount via the coupon below I suggest you move fast.

Also Peter has recently released his new Twitter Smackdown software which is a $37.50 per month product and this comes free with a Brute Force membership, as does any new products he develops of which the Twitter software s one example. This makes the demand for spots this time even higher. Obviously if you want to grab a spot you’ll need to be quick before the doors close again.

How To Save Big on Brute Force Seo Fees

Some exciting news from the Brute Force Seo team. We all know that there has been a price rise with every release of any vacant slots. And it makes sense to reward those who got in early for sure. But now if you’re fast enough to get in on the current release (there are still a few slots available before the doors close again so I’m told) then you have the option to pay the monthly subscription (currently at $147 per month) or save HUGE money by selecting the yearly subscription. Aand get this, the yearly subscription works out to just under 7 months of the monthly rate. So you save literally more than 5 months of your subscription fees by selecting the yearly subscription. But I suggest you move fast as the membership has been open a couple of days already and is almost full again. Get your $1 7 Day Trial Now.

Using Subdomains, Pros and Cons

by Ricardo d Argence

Some businesses are concerned that if they use subdomains they won’t get the attention they deserve through the search engines, or that the site overall will not present the right look. Let’s check the facts on subdomains.

The definition of a subdomain is a secondary or substitute domain plateau. A regular domain looks as follows: www.domain.com. A sub domain looks like this http://subdomain.domain.com. The difference is that www is not at the front of subdomains.

Subdomains rank efficiently well. Search engine spiders and bots are not prejudiced when it comes to the ranking of subdomains and regular domains. As long as your site has the right SEO keywords and has been optimized, whether you have a subdomain or regular domain name doesn’t make a difference at all.

We will act like there are a lot of categories on your site. Should you make a submission to a search engine, you might submit every subdomain in its unique category yet obtain a nice ranking nonetheless.

When referenced by a search engine, a subdomain would show up with its own indicator and directory. One stategy is to create subfolders on subdomains so that search engines such as google will read the folder as a unique site.

People worry about their subdomain getting banned if the main domain name is banned. If the main domain is banned, it will have an effect on the subdomain. You see this happen often in adult content sites that have violated certain agreements that they have signed with a provider that does not want a domain used for adult material.

Using a subdomain is not wrong. It is perfectly ok to make each subdomain into its own division. If the answer is no, obtain a main domain name and keep that as your official landing page.

10 Top Guidelines for Video SEO - Video Search Optimization

by Mark Robertson

People usually love video, millions of Americans consume videos online and same is the case world over. A consumer is most likely to keep in mind and refer to a video in comparison to a print advertisement. These days video making is very economical as compared to the cost of a traditional commercial. Broadband is getting enormous popularity worldwide. Now people can watch videos without long download times or quality issues. Present generation considers video to be a reliable source of news and information. Online video for them is second to nature. Here are a few tips/hints for optimizing your video:

1) All SEO specialists know that the search engines are built to index and rank text. Being that it is more difficult for the search engines to understand the content within a video (though they are working on it), it is a good idea to include as much text surrounding the video itself if possible. One excellent way to do this is to include a text transcript of your video alongside your video with keyword rich title and descriptions.

2) Don’t forget to encode the keywords you are targeting into your video. Try to use the word “video” as much as possible, make sure the word “video” is used in your title, description, meta data etc.

3) Search engine crawlers rely a lot on the link texts to figure out what the video is all about as they are not capable to figure out the contents of the video otherwise. Therefore it is advisable to get as many back links as possible for your video.

4) It is advisable to create a separate sitemap just for your videos in your site and try to keep your video files in one directory this would help the web crawlers to locate your video files speedily and effortlessly.

5) If you are hosting the video on your own site, it is advisable to do your best to utilize a player that is not flash as search engines have difficulty understanding flash content. That being said, it will be difficult to empower video on your site without a simple flash player. If you can not get around it, do your best to take advantage of the other SEO techniques since search engines cant understand the flash technology.

6) Create search engine friendly keyword URLs for your video pages. To do this, you can use mod-rewrite function or htaccess file so that the URLs are freely assessable and readable by the search engines.

7) More than anything, I have learned that the thumbnail that you choose for your video is one of the most important factors in terms of the number of people that choose to view your video. With that in mind, try to experiment with various thumbnails until you have a good idea which images attract the most views from the audience that you are targeting.

8) If you are hosting videos on your own site, use the sitemap that we mentioned earlier and keep your videos all in the same directory folder so that search engines can more easily locate all the videos you are publishing.

Besides the tips mentioned above for Video SEO, there are a few other guidelines to keep in mind:

9) Keyword research, as with search engine optimization for other online content, is crucial for targeting the audience you desire most effectively. Use keyword research tools available in order to identify those words that most often are searched for when searching for related content online.

10) Enable ratings, reviews, comments, and feedback on your videos. Research shows that allowing users to provide feedback results in greater views for your video in addition to the fact that users who provide feedback tend to be those users that act.
